Glass Art

A few friends have been kind enough to actually read my blog (thank you!) and suggested that I add more color. My mom's cousin, Stephen, is a glass artist whose work is full of gorgeous color. The titles he chooses, like "Winking Tangy Orb," show how unpretentious and funny he is. I hope everyone will enjoy his beautiful creations:

Lock Lane

Found some snapshots of my old place at Lock Lane, including one of my niece and me. I lived there about 4 years and loved it. My neighbors were a diverse group of older and younger people from all walks of life.

The apartments were built in the 1930's and had a colonial sort of charm to them. I enjoyed decorating and entertaining there during the holidays, and especially appreciated the fireplace, and hearing the church bells chiming in the background. Will write more about memories of living there later.
